The Fiesta, backed by Ford Greece and sponsored by JetOil, won the S1600 category in the last rally of the Greek Championship (Rally Corinth) giving a happy ending to a difficult championship year. The Fiesta run trouble free all day, allowing the driver not only to win his class but to climb as high as 6th place overall in a gravel rally, overcoming many 4wheel drive competitors. Lambros Athanassoulas commented after his win: It is an amazing feeling to win a rally after all these reliability problems we encountered this year.
